The world’s largest cruise ship, Star of the Seas by Royal Caribbean, will dock in Florida before setting off on its first voyage at the end of August.

With 20 decks and capacity for 5,000 passengers, the ship departed from its construction port in Finland last Thursday (17th) and is scheduled to arrive at Port Canaveral, Florida, on August 15, according to the website.

The ship will embark on its inaugural voyage on August 31. Departing from the Orlando pier, the ship will make stops at both the eastern and western ends of the Caribbean, including San Juan, St. Kitts, Cozumel, and Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas.

The cheapest reservation for the Star of the Seas starts at $951 per person, but the experience includes a wide range of complimentary activities, such as access to the largest water park at sea and even rotating performances of Broadway’s “Back to the Future: The Musical“.

“We are incredibly proud to welcome Star of the Seas to the Royal Caribbean family as we continue to revolutionize how families and adventurers vacation,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean.
